What is "Green Architecture," anyway? |
"Green architecture" is one of those catch phrases being bantered about with amazing frequency these days. Sources of so called "green" technologies are so abundant now that the term is almost meaningless when used. But not for us. We understand it, and we embrace green architectural concepts in every phase of the work we do. But what does it mean? This quote is from D magazine's "Green Glossary" Green architecture Buildings that have minimal impact on the environment because they are designed to conserve energy, water, land, and other natural resources. Green architecture is more a set of strategies and values than an architectural style. For additional and more detailed information about what Green Architecture entails, please see the "Sustainability" section of our website.
